Your boss has observed that many people are leaving the office very late.He has asked you to write an article for the company newsletter describing the situation and discussing the negative effects. You have also been asked to give two suggestions to improve the situation . Provide a suitable title for your article.
2013 Q6 Title: Works are over!
Congratulations ! Our company’s performance has gotten enviable reputation and has been luring more and more customers to purchase our products. But our colleagues have suffered an avalanche of problems. I recently observed our colleagues leaving office quite late . We should have responsibilities to concern about this and stop the problems to unremitting worsening.
To commence with , our department management in order to pursuit a higher performance , he therefore hands enormous projects and proposals which are complex and difficult to deal with , out to our colleagues.
It certainly is a fatal cause to make our colleagues working overtime. Besides, last month ,we have two employees who need go training , left from our department .So ,we are duty to take over their work.Worse still , our department are not making recruitment in time to replenish labour until now .It no doubt is a factor to aggravate our colleagues’ working burden.
Leaving office late brings about an array of problems for our colleagues.First,Doing exercises is certainly impossible towards our colleagues , if not absurd , without adequate time to do this . We whether can leave office early , is truely questionable. Let alone squeeze some time to do sports or train our body. Although many reports said balance our daily grind with doing exercises is the best recipe for our life, we are not allowed balance our own life by unremitting works. Besides,our colleagues backbone and spine bear enormous stress as a result of daily sitting over ten hours and absencing movement. That our colleagues suffer from difference kinds of healthy problems is definitely the last thing we want to see!
Not only is leaving office late detrimental to our health , but also equally bad for our family life . We need spend mass time to work in office , it denies our colleagues’ time for enjoying family life .Watching TV , going camping , going hiking are some examples of we impossible to do with family. How ludicrous it is to keep a favourable family relationship!
So, to defend our healthy and family life , we are necessary to impose some rigid policies in order to stop the vicious circle become more serious and give back a balance life to our colleagues. As a good start point can strengthen our department’s labour .We can make recruitment for temporary staff and part-time.Although it increases the expense , it centrally reconciles our colleagues’ toil and amount of works .Therefore,it is worthy to do.
For me , implementation of standard working hours is a cornerstone of sustainable for colleagues to keep a healthy life and balance their life. They can not only work out , take a rest and accompany with family after getting off work,they but also join the social gathering which is surely an asset catalyzing expanding their relationship, thus enabling them to obtain satisfied on physiology and spirit .
Everyone of you is an important asset of our company.Therefore,don’t hesitate , let take a action to pursuit your own quality of life .
