a) 3 x 200 / (1000 + 200) = 0.5 V
b) When the temperature of the thermistor is smaller than a certain value, the resistance of the thermistor is small so that the potential difference across the thermistor is less than 0.6 V. The heater is switched off.
c) 3 x R / (1000 + R) = 0.6 => R = 250 Ω
