When she had leisure time, she read magazines which most of them conveyed the message that women should have a slim body in order to gain the attention from men. Being affected by those magazines and pop stars, she started losing weight by skipping meals. At first, she was satisfied with her slim body. Nevertheless, later she discovered that she had no appetite to eat anything. At that moment, she realized that she suffers from eating order.Without nutrition, she got sick easily. Subsequently, she found a doctor to help her and she had used almost 2 years recovering from this disease. By sharing her past experience, Wong hoped that young girls could be aware of their health instead of a slim body.

In addition, the sophisticated social worker Alan Yip evinced that media was the main culprit of alluding teenagers to have a slim body. Media helps construct the meanings and values to the public . In other words, the concept of beauty is being crystallized by media.Consequently, it is a must that Media should create a new meaning and value to all young people, demonstrating the idea "health outweights beauty". For example, models who are too slim should be banned from appearing in magazines. Without the help of media, it is difficult to stop the trend of having a slim body.

All in all, thanks to the guests from the talk, it highlights the primacy of health and arouses public's concern on the issue of losing weight extremely. Again, young girls should introspect:whether it is worth paying an unaffordable cost, having a slim but fragile body?
