It depends on how good your school teacher is. But based on what my friends have told me, good Economics teachers are only handful. A good tutor will definitely help. I AM NOT ADVERTISING FOR ANYONE OR ANY TUTORIAL CENTRE. But based on my experience, Daniel Yu is only suitable for people who already understand Economics well. If your foundation is not good, you shouldn't join his classes. Instead, Queenie Wu is quite good at concept explaining.
If you are financially capable, you can also get a university student and have him/her as your tutor. I think private tutoring is more effective WITH THE RIGHT CHOICE OF THE TUTOR (emphasis added).
