You've probably overthought this. What is the limit as x tends to negative infinity of 5^x? Just plug that in and you'll get it!

This limit is not in an indeterminate form (e.g. 0/0, infinity/infinity, etc.), so nothing fancy here.

5^(-infty) = 1/(5^infty) "=" 0. Hence...
(btw, a calculator trick, try plugging in a really negative number and guesstimate the limit)
